YShout is Donationware.
Since version 4, YShout has been donationware. What this means is that in order to download it, I require a donation to cover the time spent in development as well as hosting expenses.
This donation can be of any sum – donate what you think YShout is worth. After I receive your donation, email me the transaction info and I will send you a link to the download. If you have donated an amount upwards of $5 for a previous version of YShout and do not wish to donate again, you may send me an email with the transaction ID of the previous donation instead.
By donating, you are granted the right to use YShout on as many sites as you wish. You may not sell YShout yourself, or offer it for download, either by itself or as part of a package.
YShout is written in PHP and uses files for log storage — there is no database required. [Jan 15, 2010: It appears YShout also does not work on Windows servers.]
